Food Distribution Drive

The Karuna Sadan Trust recently organized a food distribution drive on 11th Jan 2023 that was a huge success. The goal of the drive was to provide a hot meal to those in need, and the trust was able to exceed their expectations by distributing over 500 meal boxes. This significant accomplishment brought smiles to the faces of many people who were struggling to make ends meet.

On this day our Trustees Mr. Michael & Anita Fernandes with the Karuna Sadan volunteers came together to distribute food to the poor, homeless, and orphans in various places throughout the city of Mumbai.

2. Sneha Sadan – Jogeshwari

This is an orphanage for boys. Chicken Biryani was distributed to all over there.

3. Sneha Sadan – Andheri

This is an orphanage for girls. Veg. Biryani was distributed all over there.

In addition to providing food, the KSM volunteers also engaged in conversations with the recipients, listening to their stories and offering support and encouragement. Many of the recipients expressed their gratitude for the volunteers’ kind words and for being reminded that they are not alone in their struggles.
