Old Age Support

Everyone who visits an old age home can see that the inmates are there not because they want to be away from home and independent, but because they have no other option after being mistreated and unloved in their own houses by their own offspring. The sole comfort is that they are receiving their daily needs of shelter and food – if not the bonds of affection from their family. We intend to provide these people with the comforts of home and to make a positive difference in their lives.

Dry rations are given to programme participants to last them for a month. These consist of:

  1. Rice
  2. Toor Dal
  3. Cooking Oil
  4. Salt
  5. Sugar
  6. Masoor Dal
  7. Soap
  8. Atta

They also receive the required toiletries for a month.

Donations to this initiative provide rations for two meals a day and access to basic hygiene for older people who are in need.
