On the occasion of International Women’s Week, Karuna Sadan Trust had the immense joy and privilege of hosting Women of Honor, a conference close to our hearts, built entirely around the beautiful theme: “Of Women, For the Women, By the Women“

More than 600 women from across Mumbai came together on 7th March 2026 for an evening that was as inspiring as it was joyful, a space where every woman felt seen, celebrated, and uplifted.

Music That Made Us Dance: Our All-Girls Band

A Speaker Who Stirred Every Heart: Mrs. Sujata Lever

Following the music, the evening was graced by our distinguished guest speaker, Mrs. Sujata Lever, who delivered a deeply moving and thought-provoking address on leadership. Her words challenged every woman in the room to look within, to recognise her strength, and to step into her purpose with boldness and confidence.

Beyond leadership, the conference touched on a range of topics relevant to women today, from personal empowerment and emotional resilience, to faith, family, and community impact. Every session sparked conversations that will carry forward long after the event.

A Night of Gifts, Food & Laughter

Women of Honor was not just a conference but a full celebration. Our Volunteers were honoured with the gift of a beautiful saree, a symbol of grace and cultural pride. A delicious dinner was served for everyone, bringing women together around the table in warmth and fellowship. Fun games kept the laughter going and created memories that will be treasured for a long time.

It was a evening where every woman left feeling valued, full, and deeply loved.

With Deep Gratitude

A heartfelt thank you to our Trustees, Mrs. Anita Fernandes and Mr. Michael Fernandes, whose dedication, vision, and tireless effort made Women of Honor a reality at such a magnificent scale. This event bears their fingerprints in every beautiful detail.
