Daughter’s day celebration 2022

International Daughters Day celebrates the girl child on the fourth Sunday in September.

In India, families with only daughters are viewed negatively. Unfortunately, even some developing nations continue to follow these customs. This event aids in eradicating customs that support the idea that a girl child is a burden.

To raise awareness of the value of each and every girl in society, Karuna Sadan Trust organised a contest on their social media account. Everyone was urged to post a photo highlighting the difference their daughter has made in their lives.

We believe every girl can and should receive an education and be given equal opportunities.

Hundreds of families posted images of their daughters and messages about how they have brightened their lives with love and joy. There was a wide choice of pictures and quotes, and each image was distinctive in its own way.
